Mia Tindall and Savannah Phillips have enjoyed a fun-filled day at the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park today.

The royal cousins, aged nine and 12, respectively, were pictured laughing with one another and taking part in the activities on offer, including trampolining.

Dressed in what appeared to be official navy T-shirts for the annual event, the pair both prepared for the muddy conditions by wearing green wellington boots.

They were joined at the prestigious occasion, held at the Princess Royal’s estate, by their grandmother Princess Anne, 72, and Mia’s mother Zara Tindall, 42.

Mia’s siblings, Lucas, two, and Lena, five, as well as her father Mike Tindall, 44, didn’t appear to be at the outing. Savannah’s father Peter Phillips and her sister Isla, 11, weren’t pictured either.

In its 28th year, the event is taking place on a course designed by Princess Anne herself. The two-day long event encompasses dressage, show jumping and different cross-country phases.

Mia is the eldest of Zara and former rugby star Mike Tindall’s children and is now 22nd in the line of succession.

Like her cousin Savannah, Mia is known for a mischievous streak and can also be found running around with her father and cousins at various horse competitions.

Savannah and Mia, Queen Elizabeth II’s great-granddaughters, once again showed their close bond as they enthusiastically danced along to Abba at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant at Buckingham Palace in June 2022.

Mia got into the celebratory spirit as she boogied along to Abba as she belted out the words to their hit song Dancing Queen from the royal stands.

Savannah and Mia were seated in front of London’s mayor Sadiq Khan but were undeterred by any distractions as they let loose during the concert.

Meanwhile Mia’s younger sister Lena appeared a little unimpressed by the dancing duo, crossing her arms and scowling at the stage.

The cousins were also dressed in co-ordinating outfits, with Mia opted for a blue shirt dress featuring a playful palm tree print.  She swept her hair back from her face with a navy hairband.

Meanwhile Savannah was dressed in a bright blue dress with a white cardigan, while her sister Isla wore a matching white hairband and white jacket for the occasion.
