Tomato ketchup goes with pretty much everything.
It's great for a Full English breakfast and even more delicious with just some fries. However you'll find many Brits can be quite particular about it.
Ketchup Heinz is the first brand to come to mind, but the cost of living crisis is making it hard to snap up. Nowadays a 460g bottle could cost around £2.50.

Now shoppers believe they've found a cheaper and tastier alternative. German supermarket Lidl is selling Batts Tomato Ketchup for just 95p per 500g.
And fans are even convinced you won't be able to tell the difference after making the swap. In the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, fans were singing its praises.
A shopper said: "Thanks to the person who posted ages ago about Lidl's own tomato sauce as an alternative to Heinz. (Tastes exactly the same but for 95p a bottle)."
Another even claimed: "Tastes better than Heinz." A third commented: "Been my all-time favourite for over 12 years." As a fourth added: "I love it."
Making the swap to the Lidl alternative could help you save a whopping £80 a year as the dupe costs less than five times than the original.

Also you'll get an extra 40g in the Lidl bottle so it should last longer which stretches your weekly shop even more. It's worth remembering Lidl doesn't do deliveries.
So you'll have to physically pop into your local store to pick one up. Of course if you're a Heinz Tomato Ketchup fan, make sure you shop around for the best price.
Previously, Heinz left Brits heartbroken as it removed one of its much-loved soups from the line-up. The person asked about the Cream of Tomato Soup with a kick of chilli.
They revealed it was their "favourite soup" and begged Heinz to send them a crate.
