Shoppers rush to buy summer essential from B&M scanning at £115 less at the till | The Sun

B&M shoppers can't get enough of a summer essential scanning at an almost 50% discount.

The George Foreman four burner gas BBQ is selling for £125 instead of £240.

One shopper spotted the deal at their local B&M branch in Tiverton, Devon and it was shared on the hotukdeals.com website.

The BBQ isn't available on B&M's website but it might be worth seeing if your local branch has it in stock.

If you don't want to waste a trip, you can always call ahead to see if they've got it.

Bear in mind, the nearly 50% discount might apply to just the Tiverton store and nowhere else too.

Meanwhile, Curry's also has it on sale on its website for £240.

What risks are associated with BBQs?

If you're gearing up to light your BBQ this summer, there are some hazards you should be aware of.

Remember to never leave the appliance unattended, especially if it's a windy day.

Fires from BBQ's can quickly spread to nearby areas and grow out of control fast.

It's worth making sure you place your BBQ is an open area too, so any loose flames don't spread to nearby trees, bushes or fences.

If you are someone who regularly uses a BBQ, you should speak to your neighbours too.

You can actually be fined £5,000 by your local council if any open BBQ or bonfires are considered a "nuisance" by people living next to you.

While a BBQ is unlikely to be considered a nuisance, it's not worth taking the risk.

So make sure you keep an open dialogue with your neighbour and make sure they're happy with you lighting up your grill.
