Stacey Solomon may have just revealed her wedding hair colour

Every soon-to-be bride knows that the final few days in the run-up to the wedding aren’t the best time to experiment with big hair and beauty changes. Instead, it’s best to try new colours or cuts a few weeks before the big day – a tip Stacey Solomon clearly has been informed about.

Her wedding to Joe Swash is set for the end of this month and, from what we can gather, her final beauty preparations seem to be well underway. Just today the mum-of-four shared an update on the bridal hair colour – and it looks like it’s going to be a lot lighter than her current bold red hue.

In a series of Instagram snaps showing her doing a bit of garden work, Stacey shows off a blonde “skunk stripe” at the back of her hair. She claims in the caption that this streak is a test for a hair colour she wants for her wedding day.

“Spent the morning putting some hanging baskets up on the lamp posts for the wedding and hopefully they’ll be even more trailing and beautiful after a few weeks of love,” she writes, adding: “Ignore my skunk hair, I had to test a patch before I change it for the wedding.”

The single streak of hair is visibly much blonder and appears more strawberry in tone than her current bold berry. It could just be the first phase of her hair testing, as going from red to blonde can take a few sittings at the hair salon. Or, it could be that this streak is going to be the final colour Stacey is choosing for her big day. Either way, we’re excited to learn that she’s heading for a hair transformation ahead of her wedding.

We also wonder what style Stacey will pick to wear to her nuptials. If we were to guess, we’d say she might go for aRapunzel-like hairstyle similar to the one she wore to her baby showerback in September 2021.

Sharing a series of snaps to her Instagram, fans could see the intricate details of the look. Her red tresses had been given extra inches with the help of some hair extensions, which made the ends reach way past her waist in a Disney princess effect. Her hair had also been styled into a messy fishtail-like braid and adorned with pretty pink roses.

“Stace you look like the human Rapunzel,” commented one pal, whileScarlett Moffattalso mused: “You look like Rapunzel!”

A third noted: “Aw you look like a princess, this is all beautiful.”

Just a few more weeks until we can find out Stacey’s full bridal beauty details!
