The Apprentice finalist Rochelle Anthony’s life off screen from reality TV to husband

Rochelle Anthony has impressed Lord Sugar enough to make it all the way to The Apprentice final, which is no easy feat.

The 35 year old businesswoman and mum of two is the owner of The Doll’s House salon in Milton Keynes, which offers hairstyling and extensions.

However, the business was in serious trouble before the star headed into the show, which has been reported to subject contestants to 18 hours of filming straight, to try and secure Lord Sugar’s investment.

According to Companies House, a public registry of UK business, her salon has debts of around £65,000 and boasts a measly £500 in assets.

The star responded to the revelations by saying that it was “no secret” and that it was a big part of her motivation to apply.

She had also started five other businesses, all of which she was eventually forced to close due to financial difficulties.

Most of which were also in hairdressing, but Rochelle is defiant over her past struggles and has said that becoming a successful entrepreneur is about “trial and error”.

Now, she’s closer than ever to securing the coveted £250,000 investment that should save her current salon.

Despite her business woes – which she largely attributes to difficulties faced during the coronavirus shutdowns – Rochelle enjoyed a pretty enviable lifestyle before starring on the show.

She’s previously worked as a celebrity hairstylist and even featured on an episode of Geordie Shore when she was working for reality star Marnie Simpson.

On the episode, Marnie reveals that Rochelle has been her hairstylist for “so long” and that she had become her go-to when she needed hair advice and tips.

She also enjoyed several luxury holidays before heading on the Apprentice, which returned for series 17 this year.

The hairstylist treated herself to a trip to the four star Sun Siyam Olhuveli resort in the Maldives last year and took her two kids and husband on a family getaway to Disneyland Paris, where they all posed for a sweet snap in front of the castle.

Rochelle has been married since 2016 and recently posted a throwback picture of her wedding on Instagram, but doesn't speak about her husband on The Apprentice and, as he doesn't appear to have social media, his name and profession is unknown.

Before heading into the show, Rochelle admitted that her glamorous look and lifestyle had lead to her being compared to US reality star Kim Kardashian.

“I’m doing business with a hint of glam,” Rochelle explained.
