Welcome to our coverage
Good morning, welcome to our coverage of the Voice to parliament referendum.
It’s an historic day, as Australians go to the polls for a vote to change the constitution for the first time since 1999.
I’m Tom Cowie and I’ll be kicking off the live blog this morning, which will be providing updates right through the day.
Voting centres will open at 8am, which is in a little over an hour for those in the AEDT timezone.
There will be more than 7000 polling places open today, feel free to send anything you see or hear to me via email [email protected].
