For over ten years, the cast of Gogglebox have continued to delight viewers week after week with their animated and lively commentaries on the latest TV to have hit our screens.
Yet while we can’t get enough of the stars irreverent takes on the latest telly, more and more of have also been interested in the stars themselves and their lives away from their sofas for the rest of the week.
From day jobs to pay cheques, cheeky side hustle to Gogglebox babies, there’s no aspect of their lives that we haven’t been captivated by. But one topic that continues to cause a stir among fans is which of our favourite stars are dating, and who is still single.
But fear not, Gogglebox fans, because OK! has you covered with a quick run down of everything you need to know about the stars and their love lives.
Pete Sandiford and Paige Yeomans
It wouldn’t be Gogglebox without siblings Pete and Sophie Sandiford on our screens, with the Blackpool natives often sending fans into hysterics with their cheeky take on some of the most memorable moments on the small screen every week.
But when they’re not engaging in playful banter with each other or maintaining a clear sibling rivalry, Pete is often busy spending time with his wife Paige Yeomans and their adorable two children, Jimmy and Eva.
In true TV style, Pete announced Jimmy’s birth on the red carpet at the National Television Awards in September 2021.
Speaking to The Mirror at the time, he said: “It’s a bit overwhelming, got it all going on at the moment,” before revealing the sex of his first child. “He’s cool little lad, takes after his mum not me,” he added.
Fast forward two years and Pete and Paige became parents for a second time, when they welcomed Eva Sylvie into the world, and announced her birth on Gogglebox in June 2023.
Sophie Sandiford and Ben McKeown
Just like her brother Pete, Sophie Sandiford is also in a relationship, although she prefers to keep her love life with Irishman Ben McKeown out of the spotlight.
The couple first went public with their romance in April 2022, when Sophie shared a photograph of the pair attending a wedding alongside Pete and his wife, Paige.
Sophie also even opened up about the first time Ben met her brother, when she recalled their meeting on Gogglebox, telling viewers: "You, first time meeting him, 'Oh, I thought you'd be taller,' as you looked up at him.
“And then saying, 'I thought you were at least 6ft' when he is 6ft.”
Pete then cheekily shot back: "He doesn't look 6ft. Lies, already built on lies,” to which Sophie replied: ”Just because he makes you look like one of the Borrowers."
Aside from clearly having made an impression on Sophie’s family, little else is known about Ben other than the fact he hails from Northern Ireland and previously studied at Glasgow University.
One thing eagle-eyed viewers have noticed however, is that Ben and Sophie are both keen travellers, with Sophie often sharing snaps of their trips away together on social media.
Lee Riley and Steve Mail
Although Lee Riley is often seen on screen with his best pal Jenny Newby – and the duo are frequently mistaken for a couple – away from our screens Lee is madly in love with his partner Steve Mail, with the couple having dated for almost 30 years!
To celebrate their 25th anniversary back in 2019, Lee paid a special tribute to the love of his life as he wrote: "Happy anniversary Steve 25 years of hell… ermmmmmm I mean bliss. No you're the love of my life xx."
Steve then wrote back: "Happy 25th anniversary to @ leegogglebox the love of my life and my best friend love you to the moon and back here’s to many more.”
Despite never starring on Gogglebox himself, many fans have even called for Steve to become a permanent next addition to the cast, after seeing his relationship with Lee unfold on social media.
Siddiqui family wives
Throughout Gogglebox’s decade spanning career, one popular family who have remained a firm favourite with fans are Derby-based family the Siddiquis, made up of dad Sid and sons Baasit and Umar, but viewers have never seen their wives on screen.
Away from the Gogglebox sofa, Sid has been married to his wife Nasreen for the best part of 40 years, although she has yet to ever appear on the show alongside him.
Fans were able to catch a glimpse of her however, when Baasit shared a sweet photo of his parents, posing alongside his own daughter Amelia.
Alongside the cute snap, Baasit wrote: "I was trying to get a photo of all three of these guys staring at the camera and smiling! Dad is like a statue with that smile but Mum and Amelia we're doing it on purpose.
"Each time one of them would smile the other would look the other way or swap! The Siddiqui ladies are a stubborn and cheeky bunch.”
IT teacher Bassit, is married to wife Melissa – and the pair have two precious children together, daughter Amelia and son Theodore.
Although Melissa has never appeared on Gogglebox, Bassit regularly shares photos of his family on social media, much to the delight of his fans!
Izzi Warner and boyfriend Grant
One half of our favourite Leeds based duo, Izzi Warner is another star who is happily dating her long-term partner away from the Gogglebox spotlight.
Izzi has been dating her boyfriend Grant for several years now, with the couple even sharing two children together a son named Bobby and a daughter named Bessie.
Although the couple have been together for the duration of Izzi’s time on the show, viewers have never seen Grant in person on Gogglebox – however he has made a rare appearance on the star’s social media accounts.
In one sweet snap to celebrate Valentine’s day, Izzi could be seen cuddling up to her boyfriend while sporting an embroidered black dress, while Grant donned a Burberry-inspired jumper and jeans.
Ellie Warner and Nat Eddlestone
Another popular star of Gogglebox, is Ellie Warner, who is regularly seen on screen alongside her sister Izzi – however away from our screens, Ellie has been dating her partner Nat Eddleston for a number of years, with the couple even becoming parents for the first time in 2023!
Ellie first mentioned Nat on the show back in 2018, when she referred to him as her boyfriend, however there has never been any confirmation about how long the couple had been dating before that.
Ellie and Nat announced that they had safely welcomed their first child in June with Ellie describing the birth as the “best day’"of her life.
The baby joy came just months after Nat had been left fighting for his life following a horrific car accident, which saw him placed on life support after being knocked down while enjoying a night out in Leeds.
Thankfully, despite several broken bones, Nat defied the odds and survived and has been continuing to juggle his recovery alongside the trials and tribulations of new parenthood.
