Selling your unwanted items online is a great way to make a bit of extra cash, and buying second had is more sustainable too, but not every item advertised by sellers will have you reaching for your wallet.  

Bored Panda decided to collate the weirdest online adverts in the US and UK into a funny gallery that will make you chuckle. 

They include one listing, from Blyth in Northumberland, that showed a motorbike for sale – badly Photoshopped on to a countryside background.

Any prospective buyer might be advised to do some due diligence as to whether the bike was even real or not.  

Another frustrated, albeit honest, seller listed a gazebo for free because it was a ‘pain in the a** to put up.’ 

Vroom! People from around the world shared hilarious adverts that caught their attention and Bored Panda collated the weirdest into an online gallery. Including one listing, from Blyth in southeast Northumberland, that showed a very badly Photoshopped motorbike for sale

Elsewhere, someone randomly shared a snap of their hand next to a pasty when trying to sell a prom dress.

Meanwhile a seller, from Ashford in Kent, was selling Valentine’s Day hampers full of cleaning products – not exactly a romantic choice.

Ouch! There is no doubt an interesting story behind why this engagement ring is up for sale 

No thanks! This advert, from the US, appears to be selling a bag of socks, 25 pairs of socks to be exact

Bargain! Another seller, believed to be in the UK, decided to sell an old wheelchair with flower pots on it for £50

Hygienic: This entrepreneur from the UK decided to start their own business selling ‘sanitised wheelie bins’ for cold water therapy   

Perfect condition, one use! Someone would have to pay me a lot of money to get into this, no wonder it’s free 

Good deal! Another person, from Halifax, West Yorkshire, was selling A LOT of toilet roll – perhaps after panic buying during lockdown 

‘Worlds ugliest lamp’! A woman, from Bath, England, listed a lamp that her boyfriend bought ‘without her consent’

Romantic! Another person listed a drawing of Dwayne Johnson with candles shaped in a love heart in front like a shrine
