Amazon Prime members were able to access a flood wave of bargains that were teased throughout the 48-hour flash sale on the Amazon deals hub.

When is Prime Day 2023?
Amazon hasn't yet announced the dates for Prime Day 2023.
However, by looking at the dates of sales in previous years, we can take an educated guess and predict that this year's Prime Day will take place again in mid-July.
In 2022 Amazon returned to its normal summer slot on 12 and 13 July for Prime Day.
Before that, the 2021 event took place across the 21 and 22 June, and the 2020 event was pushed back to October 13 due to Covid-related complications.
Also in 2022, the online giant surprised everyone by announcing a second Prime Day sale, which took place on 11 and 12 October.
Keep checking back to this page to find out all the latest news as it is announced – as soon as we know the exact 2023 date, we'll post them here.
How long will Prime Day 2023 last?
Prime Day has always only taken place over a 48-hour window, and we imagine it will follow the same pattern in 2023.
But who knows? Amazon, after all, is the biggest retailer on the planet and always sets its own agenda.
Last year the store surprised us by rolling out a second Prime Day sale in October – we're curious to see whether the same will happen this year.
How do I get access to Amazon Prime Day deals?
If you want to shop the Amazon Prime Day deals, you'll need to sign up to become an Amazon Prime member, which you can do here.
Amazon's subscription service comes with a lot of perks, including free next-day delivery (and even same-day delivery in certain postcodes).
You can also get access to Prime Video, Amazon's ever-growing streaming service of movies and TV shows.
Amazon also offers members early access to its 24-hour 'lightning' deals (something that's ramped up dramatically during Prime Day itself).
Of course, Prime comes with a cost: £8.99 a month, or £95 a year for a 12-month plan – but it also has a 30-day free trial period.
That's more than enough time to cancel if you fancy picking up some exclusive bargains during Prime Day.
Unsurprisingly, Amazon doesn't make the cancellation process easy – but we've got step-by-step instructions in our how to cancel Amazon Prime article.
What Amazon Prime Day deals to expect?
Shoppers can expect the best price drops to come from Amazon's own devices, including Echo Dots, Fire tablets, Ring video doorbell and Kindle e-readers.
But it's not just Amazon smart devices that are typically on sale during Prime Day – you can also pick up subscriptions such as Audible,Amazon Music Unlimited and Kindle Unlimited for much less than usual.
Like Prime, these services come with a 30-day free trial period, but that often gets extended to three months.
But it's not just Amazon's own products that get slashed during Prime Day.
Look out for some impressive drops on big-name items, whether that's Elemis cleansing balm or the Shark Anti-Hair Wrap Cordless vacuum cleaner.
Speaking about this year's event, Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime said: “This year, we’re making it simple for members to find the best deals, from personalized deal recommendations to Alexa reminders. It’s never been easier for Prime members to shop, save, and make the most of Prime Day.

Amazon Prime Day has been around for several years now, and it's a firm fixture in the sales calendar.

It usually lasts for a couple of days, with many new deals appearing on the second day.

In fact, pretty much every last product category under the sun gets included in the Prime Day sale.

Amazon Prime vs Black Friday: which is best?
Amazon Prime Day is one of the busiest sales event of the summer.
But in terms of length, scale and discount quality, Black Friday is the reigning deals period of the year.
You'll find terrific price drops during both sales – and it's not impossible that some Prime Day offers may well match those you find during Black Friday in November.
But remember, the Prime Day deals are only available to people who have signed up to Amazon Prime, while Black Friday deals are available to all.
When is the next Amazon sale?
The next Amazon sale will, in all likelihood, will be Prime Day.
While dates haven't been confirmed yet, the two-day Prime-exclusive sale has historically always been scheduled in for mid-July.
That's little more than a month away, and we think it's pretty unlikely Amazon will play host to any major kind of sale before then.
That being said, you'll always find various discounts listed on the retailer's deals page.
