A woman who got a mommy makeover has opened up about the realities of plastic surgery that no one talks about, saying she wasn’t prepared for the putrid smell of her bodily fluids or how her vagina is now ‘totally different.’

Stacie Hudson, 28, from Alberta, Canada, paid upwards of $25,000 for a breast lift and full tummy tuck when she went under the knife last month. She has been documenting her recovery on TikTok, where she uses the handle @stacehuds.

In a recent video, she shared some of the things she wished she knew about getting a mommy makeover surgery, including how her tummy tuck would change the way she looks ‘down there.’

‘Nothing could have prepared me for this one. Nobody had ever talked about it or said anything. Surgery changed my vagina. Okay. What?’ she said.

Hudson noted that this change makes sense when you think about it, but she wasn’t warned ahead of time.

‘When they take the skin on the top, they also have to take the skin on the bottom and stretch it together,’ she explained. ‘So, yes, it’s stretched up here, but it also stretched from down there.

‘It’s totally different down there now, and it’s really kind of weird. I have to wrap my head around it.’

Hudson also wasn’t expecting how ‘stinky’ she would be while recovering from her breast lift and tummy tuck.

‘I think it’s because you got all this fluid. You get your drains, but then your drains come out. It’s gotta come out,’ she said. ‘You’re peeing it out. You’re sweating it out, and it reeks. No amount of deodorant can save me at this point.

Hudson noted that you will ‘not be able to shower for a while’ after surgery, saying she has talked to people who had to go 10 days without bathing.

‘My first post-op shower I couldn’t even use soap, so I couldn’t even help my stinkiness,’ she explained.

The mom noted that it’s extremely painful to laugh or cough after having a tummy tuck and ‘the second healing phase is worse than the first.’

Hudson (pictured eight days after surgery) added that she reeked because of the fluid draining from her body. ‘No amount of deodorant can save me at this point,’ she said

Hudson’s eye-opening video has been viewed more than 791,000 times and has received hundreds of comments, including messages from people who could relate

‘The first phase you are holed up in bed, you can’t move, you’re on pain meds, it’s whatever,’ she explained. ‘Then the second phase happens where you’re like, I feel like myself again, I want to get move around, but you can’t because you are still healing.’

Hudson also shared the surprising reason why you can’t wear jewelry during surgery, saying a nurse told her that it puts you at risk for surgical burns from the medical equipment.

‘Girl!! thank you for the REAL REALNESS!!’ one person responded, while another added, ‘This!!! Everything you said I went through! I’m 15 days post-op.’

Others noted they had similar changes to their vaginas after surgery that were unexpected — but it’s not just women who get a boost down there.

‘My husband got a tummy tuck and his P was lifted too,’ one woman explained. ‘He likes to talk about it a lot.’

‘Just had mine 10 days ago. Was so confused when I peed straight into my mom’s knees while she helped support me,’ someone else shared.
