Tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has shown off his impressive new physique throughout this year’s Wimbledon.
The World No.1 has breezed through the opening stages of this year’s competition in SW19 and has booked himself a place in the quarter-finals against Holger Rune.
And the Spaniard, who became the youngest No. 1 in ATP History, will have hit fitness coaches to thank after pictures showed off the transformation he’s undergone.
Alcaraz looks notably larger than pictures of himself from 2019, which has been showcased as he’s flown through the Wimbledon Men’s Singles stages.
While the youngster never painted an incredibly slim figure, his physique now shows off the hours put in at the gym – with his arms looking considerably larger.

The 20-year-old kick-started his campaign with straight-set wins over Jeremy Chardy and Alexandre Muller.

He then faced some adversity in his match with Nicolas Jarry but eventually progressed after a 6-3, 6-7, 6-4, 7-5 win on Centre Court.
And, prior to his quarter-final clash with Rune, Alcaraz secured a 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 6-3, over Italian star Matteo Berrettini.
In 2022, Alcaraz’s physio coach Juanjo Moreno reflected on the immense physical transformation the player had made.
He told the ATP Tour: ‘At first, people were surprised about it. We have seen the transformation gradually, even though it has been over a short space of time.
‘It’s the same with children, if you haven’t seen them for a while, you realise how much they change.
‘I remember that at Roland Garros, when the Nike clothes arrived, he tried on the sleeveless t-shirts and then you could really see the muscle definition in his biceps, triceps and shoulders. For me, Carlos now has the physique we were looking for.’

The Spaniard has quickly become one of the biggest names in tennis and backed that by winning his first Grand Slam in 2022.
Alcaraz triumphed after a grueling match with Casper Ruud in the US Open and, in the process, became the youngest major champion since Rafael Nadal in 2005.
Alcaraz will face off with former youth team-mate Holger Rune on Wednesday afternoon on Centre Court.
They were childhood friends who were born less than a week apart and grew up on the tennis scene together.
Talking about their shared youth, Rune said: ‘He’s always been a very passionate player on the court with a lot of energy, a big forehand also in juniors – I think he is the same just so much better now.
‘Back then he was Carlos, now he is Carlos! He is the same just improveda lot and very quickly. We played doubles one time in Les Petit As and hopefully we can do it again – but now first we are going to battle against each other!’
The Spaniard will be looking to book his place in the semi-finals with a win on Thursday
Rune – speaking after his win over Grigor Dimitrov on Monday – said that he had been looking forward to facing off against Alcaraz since the first round of the tournament.
Ranked sixth in the world, the 20-year-old Dane said: ‘It shows that the young player are doing a great job so for me it is cool, for him it is also cool.
‘To be able to play quarter final against a player that’s your same age and at the top of the ranking feels amazing so I’m really looking forward to that match.
‘I even looked at it when I was in the first round but I couldn’t really afford to look at it because there were so many matches before this would eventually happen. But now we are here, so I’m really pumped and excited for it.’
