AC Milan had to overcome Napoli, who are now Italian champions, in the quarter-finals.
They claimed a 2-1 victory over the two legs and secured their place in the Champions League semi-final to face another Italian giant.
Inter beat Benfica 5-3 on aggregate in the last round after a dramatic second leg at the San Siro.
The winner of the all-Italian tie will face either Real Madrid or Manchester City in the final in Istanbul.
