Alvaro Morata next club odds: Chelsea flop likely to stay at Atletico despite Man Utd being offered sale, Juve 3/1 | The Sun

CHELSEA flop Alvaro Morata is more likely to stay at Atletico Madrid this summer than leave for any other club.

Bookmakers Betfair have Atletico priced at 8/13 to retain the services of the Spaniard for the upcoming season.

Reports have suggested that Morata has been offered to Manchester United for the season ahead.

United have faced somewhat of a striking crisis at the club as unrest has already hindered Erik ten Hag's early reign.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still plotting his exit from the club and was left out the starting lineup for the Premier League opening day defeat.

Anthony Martial is out injured too, leaving the club going in search of reinforcements.

They failed in their bid for Marko Arnautovic this week and Benjamin Sesko opted instead to join RB Leipzig.

But Morata has now emerged as an option, with reports suggesting he has been offered by Atletico.

Morata was close to signing for United in 2017 before eventually moving to Chelsea, where he didn't have the impact he wanted.

He has spent the past two seasons on loan at Juventus, with team-mate Adrien Rabiot close to sealing a move to Old Trafford.

Juve did have the option to buy Morata but that option is looking less likely and they are now 3/1 to sign the striker with Betfair.

Atletico are 8/13 to keep onto the striker, though they already have Matheus Cunha, Antoine Griezmann, Angel Correa and Joao Felix who can play in that position.

That could then open the door for Morata to move for first team football, with United close to being desperate for signings.

Betfair reckon the move is a bit unlikely though, going 6/1 that he heads back to the Premier League with United.

His former club Chelsea are also reaching crisis level in the striker department.

Could he head back there and prove people wrong for writing him off? That is even more unlikely in Betfair's eyes, rating them a 12/1 chance to sign their former striker.
