Arsenal squad wages revealed with Saka second lowest earner… but where do Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira fit in? | The Sun

BUKAYO SAKA might arguably be Arsenal's most important player, but reports claim he is actually the SECOND LOWEST earner at the club.

Only new back-up goalkeeper Matt Turner [£20,000-a-week] pockets less money than the England international in North London.

Figures from Sportrac say Saka picks up just £30k-a-week on his current deal.

Although that might get a hefty hike soon with Arsenal set to launch negotiations over a new and improved contract for the 21-year-old in the near future.

Boss Mikel Arteta declared last month that he is confident the academy graduate will pen fresh terms with the Gunners.

And Saka himself recently hinted at a new deal after revealing he feel at "home at Arsenal".

It has been claimed that striker Gabriel Jesus is the club's top earner following his £45million switch from Manchester City.

The 25-year-old, who has scored three times this season, is said to be earning £265k-a-week at Arsenal.

That is ahead of Thomas Partey [£200k] and former Citizens team-mate Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The Ukraine international followed Jesus to the Emirates in the summer, with the versatile left-back pocketing £150k-per-week.

Fabio Vieira – a £34m arrival from Porto – is said to be earning £45k-per-week after departing Portugal.

Meanwhile it is unclear how much teenage winger Marquinhos is earning as Arteta looks to slowly integrate the Brazilian into the team.

Eddie Nketiah now earns £100k-a-week, according to Just Arsenal after penning a new long-term contract with the club.

As well as making five signings, Arsenal also managed to get a host of players off their wage bill.

The likes of Bernd Leno, Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Matteo Guendouzi all departed on permanent transfers.

And Arsenal also shipped out Nicolas Pepe, Nuno Tavares, Pablo Mari, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Folarin Balogun, Alex Runarsson and Charlie Patino on season-long loan deals.
