Barcelona 'still working' on Marcos Alonso transfer and awaiting 'final answer' from Azpilicueta in double Chelsea raid | The Sun

BARCELONA are still looking to complete a double raid for Chelsea defenders Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta.

The Blues pair have been rumoured to be leaving the club this summer as part of a rebuild under new owner Todd Boehly.

The Spanish giants are looking to bring in both stars as they look to try and challenge Real Madrid next season.

Chelsea skipper Azpilicueta reportedly would like to leave the club, however he's refusing to submit a transfer request out of respect for the side he has been with for a decade.

Alonso on the other hand has made his desire to depart more obvious, sighting his hunger to play in his home country.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the Catalan club are still hopeful they'll be able to secure the pair this summer.
