Chelsea 'prepare Gabriel Jesus transfer offer' as they join Arsenal and Real Madrid in race for Man City striker

CHELSEA have joined the bidding war for Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus ahead of the summer transfer window, reports suggest.

Jesus has attracted interest from Arsenal as well as Real Madrid, who have turned their focus on him after missing out on Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.

According to AS, the Blues have also thrown their hat in the ring following the club's takeover by Todd Boehly's consortium.

The West Londoners are ready to move for the striker once their sanctions are officially lifted.

The Brazil international has been informed that an official offer will come from Chelsea once they gain permission to sign new players.

Arsenal have been keeping tabs on the 25-year-old as manager Mikel Arteta is in dire need of a top centre-forward.

The Gunners announced that Alexandre Lacazette will leave the club once his contract expires on June 30.

The North Londoners are trying to convince Eddie Nketiah, who's also set to become a free agent, to sign a new deal.

Tottenham and Atletico Madrid have also been touted as potential destinations for Jesus, whose place in Pep Guardiola's team is under threat after the arrival of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez.

The City star completed his international duty and said he will start thinking about his next move during his holidays.
