Chelsea set to unveil new 2023-24 kit without sponsor as Blues scramble to replace £40m-a-year Three contract | The Sun

CHELSEA are reportedly set to unveil their kit for the new season… WITHOUT a shirt sponsor.

The Blues looked set to sign a deal with Paramount+, but it was blocked by the Premier League.

And that has left the club scrambling for a new sponsor ahead of the launch of their kit at the beginning of next week.

They have rejected an offer from gambling company Stake following criticism from fans groups and campaigners.

German financial services outfit Allianz have also been considered but no deal has been done.

Talks with other potential companies are ongoing, but The Mail understand they are now set to bring out their new Nike kit without a sponsor.

Fans will be able to pre-order the strip which is expected to become available close or shortly after the start of the 2023/24 campaign.

And it promises to be a unique opportunity for supporters to buy a kit without a sponsor on the shirt.

The Premier League blocked Chelsea's deal with Paramount+ as they feared a link-up with the streaming service could upset rights holders.

Bosses confirmed it would not be permitted under the Deed of License – a contractual agreement between the league and its clubs.
