Conor McGregor will not face criminal charges over allegations he sexually assaulted a woman during an NBA Finals game in June.

A woman claimed she met McGregor at the game at the Kaseya Center and was leaving the arena when she claims his security told her he was asking for her in the bathroom. Once inside the bathroom, she claims he forced her to perform oral sex on him and forcibly kissed her.

McGregor always denied the accusations and his attorney said in a statement to DailyMail.Com on Tuesday night: ‘After a thorough investigation, including a review of videos and interviews with eyewitnesses, the authorities have concluded that there is no case to pursue against my client, Conor McGregor.

‘As anticipated, this decision by the authorities confirms Mr. McGregor’s account of the evening. On behalf of my client, his family and his fans we are pleased this is now over.’

The incident was alleged to have occurred on June 9, when McGregor was at the Nuggets vs. Heat game in Miami. That same night, McGregor punched and knocked out the man in the Miami Heat mascot outfit in a bizarre promo for his pain-relief spray, leaving the person needing medical attention.

According to TMZ, prosecutors saw CCTV footage showing McGregor and his accuser going into the men’s restroom together for around five minutes and were seen together at a nightclub after the game.

But, according to the publication, an attendant in the same bathroom said they heard no ‘signs of distress or sounds that would corroborate that whatever was occurring was not consensual.’

TMZ also says that the accuser told her mom she had met McGregor without alleging that she had been attacked and that when she made her allegations against the UFC star, she asked if he would settle or pay her off if she dropped her claims.

The woman’s attorney told DailyMail.Com in June that she gave police clothes she was wearing at the time, claiming they prove that he ‘spat’ on her after forcing her into oral sex.

According to the legal demand letters at the time that were issued to not just McGregor’s attorney but also the Miami Heat and the stadium, the woman was on her way out of the building when McGregor’s security summoned her to the VIP men’s restroom.

‘Once isolated and trapped in the VIP men’s bathroom at the Kaseya Center, security refused to let her exit or allow anyone else, including her friend, inside the bathroom,’ the letter said.

It continued: ‘Mr. McGregor then appeared from inside the handicapped stall and shoved his tongue in the victim’s mouth and aggressively kissed her,’ according to the legal letter.

The woman’s attorney says she then told him she needed to use the bathroom.

The McGregor claims emerged hours after his wife Dee Devlin announced she was pregnant

While she was in the stall, she says McGregor ‘pulled out his penis and shoved it down the throat of the victim’.

She claims she was able to get him off her, but says he then spat on her and on himself ‘in a desperate attempt to get his flaccid penis hard.’

She claims she then tried to flee, but says McGregor ‘aggressively grabbed her, pinned her up against the wall’ and tried to anally rape her.

‘Fortunately, Mr. McGregor’s penis was too limp for complete penetration, and the victim continuously elbowed Mr. McGregor and finally escaped,’ according to the letter.

When the accusations first surfaced in June, it was less than 24hrs after it emerged that McGregor and his fiancee Dee Devlin were expecting their fourth child.

McGregor and Devlin already have three children; Conor Jr., Croia Mairhead and Rian — aged six, four and two, respectively.
