DEONTAY WILDER "will be back" in the heavyweight picture in the near future as the division "needs him".
The Bronze Bomber has been sat on the sidelines since being brutally knocked out in the 11th round of his epic trilogy fight with Tyson Fury last October.
But old sparring partner Isaac Chamberlain reckons it won't be long until the former long-reigning WBC champ is back in the ring.
When asked if he reckons the Alabama slammer will fight again, Chamberlain told Sky Sports: "One million per cent.
"You need characters like that in boxing, he'll be back.
"I remember I was face-timing him before the other fights, he was in the zone and locked in. A true test of character is how you bounce back."

Wilder's skillset has been heavily criticised following his back-to-back stoppage losses to The Gypsy King.
But Chamberlain is adamant the devastating knockout artist isn't a one-trick pony.
The British cruiserweight said: "He's powerful, very powerful.
"I remember I sparred him when I was 19, he hit me with an uppercut, I thought I was back in London. He's a solid puncher.

"People always say it's his power. It's not really, it's his speed. He's very quick off the mark and he processes very quickly. People don't realise it and people only think he's wild just in general.
"No, he's only wild when he has you hurt. But he sticks to the basics very well, he's very, very sharp. So he's better than what people think.
"There's method behind the madness."
Wilder, 36, confirmed his intention to return to the ring earlier this year, saying: "I can't stop right here, I must continue my journey. I have to, I have to.
"I'm looking to resume my career for sure. I've got a lot of other things I've got to get out of the way.
"I'm taking away from my children if I come back, because now I'm able to enjoy my life fully like I want to.
"I sacrificed so much to be in this position in my life, to be able to life my life like I want for the rest of my life."
He added: "I've been highly requested. So many people have told me 'Come back, come back.' I'd say I'm back by popular demand.
