Disgraced jockey who bit stripper's boob in disturbing sexual assault sentenced to two months in prison | The Sun

A DISGRACED jockey who bit a stripper's breast in a disturbing sexual assault has been sentenced to prison.

Justin Huxtable, a former Apprentice Jockey of the Year, admitted assaulting a dancer working in a Brisbane strip club in November 2020.

The court heard that Australian jockey Huxtable had been warned not to touch the woman.

But despite this he allegedly kissed and bit her and even put his hand inside her underwear.

Huxtable, 22, was given a two-month suspended sentence and ordered to pay the victim $1,000 (£556).

The magistrate told Huxtable a woman has the right to feel safe in the workplace no matter their line of work.

The jockey did not answer when asked by a TV crew if he was 'remorseful' upon leaving court.

Huxtable made headlines last February after he was banned for celebrating.

The jockey stood up from the saddle and punched the air in delight before passing the post on Splash The Cash.

But his exuberance came back to bite him just yards after the line when the horse dumped him to the turf.

He was lucky not to be trampled by the runners behind him.

Huxtable, who has won just shy of £3.5million from 232 career wins, was given a three-week suspension.

He pleaded guilty to 'performing a celebratory gesture prior to the winning post resulting in him falling off'.

That humiliation came not long after he had returned to racing following a failed breath test.

Huxtable was named Queensland Apprentice of the Year for the 2020-21 season.
