The PDC has been forced to tweak its schedule for next year’s Premier League due to the European Song Contest.
The full schedule for the next annual darting roadshow was unveiled recently, with the season kicking off in Belfast on February 2 and concluding with the play-offs at London’s O2 on May 25.
Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena is again hosting one of the nights as the best players in the world battle for one of the top prizes in darts. The date for the Liverpool night has been changed after it was confirmed the city will host next year’s Eurovision.

The competition has been switched to the UK as this year’s victors, Ukraine, cannot host the event due to the ongoing invasion by Russia. Therefore, the M&S Bank Arena will host the Premier League on March 9, swapping with the Brighton night, which will now take place on April 13.
“We were aware that the location of the Eurovision Song Contest could impact our planned Cazoo Premier League schedule, and had held initial conversations with the M&S Bank Arena with regards to a contingency plan," said PDC chief executive Matt Porter.
“Following Friday's announcement that Liverpool will host the Eurovision Song Contest we have been able to move quickly to finalise the new dates for 2023.

“Both the M&S Bank Arena and The Brighton Centre have been very co-operative throughout the process and we look forward to returning to these popular venues next year."
