F1 star Esteban Ocon's seat SNAPS IN TWO after horror crash at Hungarian Grand Prix with star rushed to medics | The Sun

ESTEBAN OCON suffered a horror crash during the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Ocon's seat broke in two after he collided with Alpine team-mate Pierre Gasly and Alfa Romeo's Zhou Guanyu at Turn 1.



The French driver and Gasly had to retire with the former rushed to the medical centre for checks.

Thankfully, it was soon confirmed from his team that the 26-year-old is in good health.

Formula One fans were left in shock after witnessing the freak accident between the three drivers.

One fan tweeted: "Oh my God….that's terrifying. I hope he is ok."

Guanyu clipped the rear of Gasly's car and that led to him colliding with Ocon.

The Alfa Romeo driver was slapped with a five-second penalty for the incident.

But both Alpine cars sustained so much damage they could not complete the race.
