Fans stunned at Jordan Henderson’s body transformation as Liverpool star goes ‘beast mode’ ahead of new season | The Sun

LIVERPOOL fans have reacted to Jordan Henderson's insane body transformation as he gears up for the upcoming season.

The midfielder, 33, shared photos from what looks like a gruelling boxing training camp with the caption "Summer h̶o̶l̶i̶d̶a̶y̶ camp 💪🥊"

He posted a series of pictures of him hitting the pads and bags as part of his supposed summer holiday.

He also posted photos of himself skipping and working with a medicine ball.

To motivate Henderson for the session, there was a Muhammad Ali quote on a whiteboard saying: "I hated every minute of training, but I said, don't quit, suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion."

A number of fellow pros were quick to react to the midfielder's body transformation in the comments with Henderson exhibiting a ripped physique.

The midfielder has been keen to exhibit how hard he has been working during his time off, with his Instagram post two days ago showing the midfielder in a series of running drills as well as working in the weight room.

The posts appear to be a coded message to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and fans alike to show he has no intention of slowing down despite his advancing years.

The midfielder will face increased competition for a place in the starting XI this season after Liverpool signed World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister and Hungary midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Liverpool captain has been at the club since signing from Sunderland in 2011, making 492 appearances for the club and winning the Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup and the League Cup twice in his time at the Reds.

Klopp's side will be looking to bounce back after a tricky 2022-23 season which saw Liverpool finish outside the top four.
