FOOTBALL superagent Kia Joorabchian has signed up former Spurs trialist Kevin Stott to be Amo Racing's new retained rider.
Stott was deemed too small to make it in midfield for Tottenham.
But he has enjoyed a rapid rise through the ranks in racing and Joorabchian has snapped him up on a permanent deal.
Stott, who dates former jockey and TV pundit Megan Nicholls, enjoyed a career-best 116 winners in 2022.
He replaces Rossa Ryan in one of the biggest roles in Flat racing.
Joorabchian famously sealed deals for Carlos Tevez, Willian and David Luiz – and had Philippe Coutinho begging to buy a horse with him.
And he hopes Stott's signing will prove every bit as valuable on the racecourse.
Joorabchian said: "We're delighted to have secured Kevin as our No1 rider for the 2023 season.
