Gary Neville brutally trolls Liverpool with one-word putdown after outrageous 5-2 loss at home to Real Madrid | The Sun

MAN UNITED legend Gary Neville has poked fun at Liverpool for their defeat to Real Madrid.

The Reds were humbled at Anfield last night as they saw a two goal lead slip as Madrid hit five in the Champions League round of 16 tie.

The result leaves Liverpool on the edge of elimination from the European competition ahead of the reverse fixture at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on March 15.

Liverpool fans were put through the wringer of emotions, such as Jamie Carragher whose reactions to the goals were caught on camera.

However, Neville enjoyed the final result and opted to poke a bit of fun at his old foes.

The United hero tweeted: "Hola 👋."
