SAMPDORIA manager Marco Giampaolo has revealed that Harry Winks has taken part in just one training session since joining the club.
Winks, 26, signed for the Serie A side on a season-long loan from Tottenham at the end of the summer transfer window.
He was introduced to his new teammates and the Sampdoria fans following the club's 1-1 draw with Lazio two weeks ago, but he has not yet been named in Giampaolo's squad.
The midfielder has trained just once since arriving in Italy due to an ankle issue.
And the Sampdoria boss has revealed that he has no idea when he will be available to make his debut.
He said: "Since he arrived from Spurs, he only had one training session with us and nothing else.
