Heartbreaking moment WWE legend Booker T finds out Bray Wyatt has died during live stream | The Sun

WWE legend Booker T shockingly found out about Bray Wyatt's tragic death while on a live stream.

The veteran wrestler was speaking to Brad Gilmore at the beginning of their The Hall Of Fame podcast.

However, Gilmore was notified of Wyatt's sudden and sad passing when he saw a tweet from Triple H.

The host initially did not know how to continue before deciding to read out the post, which confirmed Wyatt had died aged 36.

But as Gilmore announced the news, Booker T was visibly shattered and heartbroken.

He sat motionless for a while before blinking and looking down in complete shock and horror.

After a few moments, a stunned Booker T asked to confirm: "Did you say Bray Wyatt's passed away?"

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer and former heavyweight champion, 58, then shook his head and closed his eyes to process the awful news.

Fans flooded social media with their own reactions of disbelief.

One said: "Booker's face went from ready for the show to instantly crushed by the news."

A third added: "Booker's reaction was the same as us all today. Been hours since I heard the news and can't sleep thinking of his family. He was such a loved individual in and out of the ring. Booker knew him personally so of course his feelings are deeper."

Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, was a third-generation wrestler and his brother also appeared in the WWE.

The former champion had not been on TV since February amid reports he was recovering from injury.

But WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H told fans of Wyatt's death.

He wrote on Twitter: "Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda, who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today.

"Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time."

The cause of death is still unknown at this time – although there are reports Wyatt suffered from a heart attack.
