SHARTASH enjoyed testing ground when a close-up third in the National Stakes at The Curragh last time. Moving up to this 7f trip was a help too and Johnny Murtagh's colt has more to come.
The Antarctic heads here after chasing home stablemate Blackbeard in the Middle Park at Newmarket. He finished off strongly so should handle this longer distance.
Tigrais has run just three times and she stepped up to win a Group 3 here last time. She got up on the line so needs to improve but looks capable of that.

WED created a good impression when winning a Deauville Group 2 with plenty in hand last month. She had to be switched as the pace quickened so it was a strong effort. She's bred to improve for tackling this mile.
Kelina is a Frankel filly who could be anything after a smooth maiden success at Chantilly last month. She's proven at the trip but wouldn't want it bottomless.
Aspen Grove is interesting after winning easily in Group 3 company at The Curragh last month. She likes to come late and Jamie Spencer is on board with that in mind.

ALPINISTA can continue her amazing Group 1 winning run by taking the Arc.
She's already scored in this highest grade five times in a row and is right at home over this trip. She has lots of stamina so should cope with the ground.
Vadeni was so impressive when taking the French Derby and backed that up when beating Mishriff in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown.
He ran to a similar level when third in the Irish Champion Stakes when meeting traffic problems. Moving up in distance should suit and let's hope jockey Christophe Soumillon can keep his elbows tucked in this time.
Last year's winner Torquator Tasso will love the deep ground and can figure again despite an iffy wide draw.
Luxembourg won the Irish Champion last time and is a massive threat and will be fine on testing going.

ABOVE THE CURVE ploughed through the mud when winning a Curragh Group 2 last time over this trip. It's telling that Ryan Moore has decided to keep the ride and he won here in May so we know the track suits.
Nashwa is a dual Group 1 winner who took the French Oaks at Chantilly before following up despite a dodgy draw in the Nassau at Goodwood. She's a big threat but the ground is an unknown if the heavens really open.
La Parisienne was bit unlucky when beaten a neck in the Vermeille here latest. She's right in the mix again.

FLOTUS came back to his best when third in the mud at The Curragh last time. That was a good effort at Group 1 level over a 5f trip that is on the sharp side for him. The testing ground here will bring his stamina into play and he is well drawn.
The Platinum Queen has lots of pace and quality and went down in a head-bobber in a Donny Group 2 at the Leger meeting. This is much the softest ground she's tackled and that may just stretch her stamina.
Coeur De Pierre likes it muddy and is capable of running into the places.

KINROSS left his run a bit late when fourth in this race 12 months ago and heads here in cracking form. He landed big wins at York and Doncaster and soft ground is right up his street with Frankie on board.
Sandrine won an Ascot Group 3 in testing conditions last season and he beat the tip a neck at Glorious Goodwood. He couldn't back that up at York last time but didn't have the best of the draw there.
Tenebrism put up a fair effort when fourth in hot company last time and this shorter trip should help.

He was a big improver when second at Hexham last time.
He looks a proper stayer so Kelso’s stiff finish will be right up his street. After just three runs, there should be more to come.
AUCUNRISQUE (2.18 Uttoxeter, nb)
He has high-class form over hurdles and should make a good chaser. He can score on this debut at this level.
NUTS WELL (3.12 Kelso, treble)
He has won this race three times in the past four years and he’s back with another big chance from lower in the weights.
