LIVERPOOL are ready to splash the cash this summer as Jurgen Klopp attempts to wrestle back the Premier League trophy from Manchester City.
And the Reds are reportedly prepared to smash their transfer record to do so in an £85million move for Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.
The Uruguayan has caught the eye of several clubs including Manchester United and Newcastle but appears keen on a transfer to Anfield.
Nunez could arrive as a replacement for Sadio Mane who seems destined to joined Bayern Munich despite Liverpool rejecting a £25m opening bid from the Germans.
If those deals happen Klopp could have a new-look front three with Nunez flanked by Mo Salah and Luis Diaz.
But Liverpool might not stop there having been credited with an interest in Arsenal dynamo Bukayo Saka.
