Inside Anthony Joshua's Dallas training camp for Jermaine Franklin fight including brutal workout and new gym | The Sun

ANTHONY JOSHUA is in Dallas for his training camp as he prepares for his fight with American Jermain Franklin.

AJ, 33, hasn't been in the ring since he lost his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk back in August.




The former heavyweight champ is looking to get back into title contention, however, and is starting things off with a tasty clash against Franklin on April 1 inside the O2 Arena, London.

And to help prepare for his big boxing comeback, AJ has headed to Dallas, Texas, for his training camp.

The Brit is undergoing a brutal new workout as well as making use of a plush gym.

AJ would've undoubtedly been roasting which heat in Dallas reaching as high as 28°C in February.

The Brit and his team are also making use of a stunning indoor pool.

Although, no diving is allowed.

AJ is also making use of a new gym with all the latest tech to help whip him into tip-top shape.

AJ is keen to put on a show at the O2 and says he's ready to perform.

He said: "I’m looking forward to stepping back into the ring on April 1 at The O2 in London.

"Mentally and physically I feel ready. I want to put on a show and impress my coach as he has high standards.

"Franklin has a good style and a great attitude, which he has shown in recent fights."
