Jadon Sancho set for showdown talks with Ten Hag TOMORROW with fears there is 'no way back for him at Man Utd' | The Sun

JADON SANCHO is reportedly gearing up for showdown talks with Erik ten Hag to sort out his Manchester United future.

The winger had an astonishing spat with Ten Hag after the 3-1 loss at Arsenal.

Sancho, 23, was dropped from the team as Ten Hag revealed that he was not happy with his performances in training.

The Englishman then responded by taking to social media, saying that it was "untrue" and that he was being made a "scapegoat".

This then led to speculation that Sancho could sensationally leave the club.

He was linked with a loan move to his former club Borussia Dortmund as well as a switch to Saudi Arabia.

The Telegraph have now claimed that Sancho will sit down with Ten Hag on Monday to ascertain whether he has a future at Old Trafford.

Sancho was given some time off last week following the Arsenal game, meaning the meeting will be the first time they have spoken face-to-face since their public butting of heads.

United were understood to be willing to listen to offers for him over the summer.

Sources are said to be "doubtful" there is a way back for Sancho under the ex-Ajax boss, even if an apology is issued.

Thus far though, an apology seems to be on the back burner with Sancho keeping his explosive rebuttal pinned at the top of his Twitter page since last week.

However, The Mirror has reported that Ten Hag believes that the situation has been blown out of proportion.

It suggests that the Dutchman was hoping that Sancho would take the omission as extra motivation to get back to his best.

The report claims that Ten Hag still believes that the situation can be resolved and that Sancho can be brought back into the fold.

It is also thought that the manager does not want his authority to be questioned and that he would not have stood in Sancho's way if he wanted to leave.

AL-Ettifaq wanted to loan Sancho but did not agree to Man United's demand of a £50million obligation to buy.

Sancho has made three appearances from the bench for the Red Devils this season.

He has had a chequered time at Old Trafford since his arrival in 2021.
