Tottenham vs Brighton DELAYED as managers from both teams have row before kick-off | The Sun

TOTTENHAM'S game against Brighton was momentarily delayed as the referee appeared to deal with a technical problem.

In a dramatic start, the two opposing managers also seemed to row on the touchline before the match kicked off.

Ref Stuart Attwell appeared to have issues with his microphone ahead of kick-off.

He was greeted with ironic cheers as the game finally got underway a couple of minutes late.

A bizarre start to the day also saw opposing bosses Cristian Stellini and Roberto De Zerbi appear to angrily exchange words.

Brighton boss De Zerbi was seen pointing a finger at Stellini as they shook hands ahead of the game.

They were then back at it as Lewis Dunk netted an equaliser after Son Heung-min had initially put the hosts in front.

Temporary Spurs boss Stellini had talked up his fellow Italian in the build up to the clash.

Speaking on De Zerbi's Brighton, he said: "They [Brighton] are well prepared when you start to press them, they find a way to overcome your pressure.

"They are well positioned, they plan a match in the right way, they have many solutions also and they adapt themselves when you change something because they came from a good job that [Graham] Potter did with them.
