WEST HAM are the new favourites to sign Southampton's £75m-rated free-kick king James Ward-Prowse.
Sky Bet are currently offering EVENS odds for the midfielder to sign for David Moyes' men, with Newcastle and Manchester United among the other sides linked.

Ward-Prowse has been at Southampton for the entirety of his career, having signed for them initially as an eight-year-old in 2003.
Since then he has racked up over 360 appearances for the club and was named captain in 2020.
The 27-year-old holds the record for the second most goals scored direct from free-kicks in the Premier League, behind only David Beckham.
Newcastle were installed as favourites to sign the midfielder initially as the Magpies bid for a challenge at the European places next season but support has come for West Ham.

Eddie Howe will be looking to strengthen his central midfielders and it's thought Ward-Prowse's signing would be an upgrade on what is currently there.
The Toon are next best after the Hammers and can be backed at 5/1.
Man United are also thought to be open to the idea of bringing Ward-Prowse to Old Trafford.
United are set to go through something of a rebuild this summer, with new manager Erik ten Hag taking the reins from Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season.
United are light of central midfielders for next year, with thedepartures of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic leaving just Scott McTominay and Fred and the returning loanees of Donny van de Beek and Andreas Pereira, whose futures both remain unclear.

Spurs are currently looking to bolster up their midfield options this summer as they head for Champions League football.
They have already landed Brighton's Yves Bissouma though and can be backed at 18/1 to be Ward-Prowse's next destination.
