Joe Westerman's wife blasts 'this is NOT me' after Castleford Tigers rugby star 'filmed performing sex act on woman' | The Sun

A RUGBY star has found himself at the centre of a sex scandal after graphic footage was leaked on Twitter.

Joe Westerman, who plays for the club Castleford Tigers, is allegedly the man in the video – which caused a storm when it circulated on Sunday.

Footage shows a man – rumoured to be the married father-of-three – performing a sexual act on a woman in an alleyway.

His wife Lauren took to social media and shared a statement: "Can I make this VERY clear that this is NOT me.

"We have three children one of whom is almost 15 and she doesn't need to see things like this all over social media!"

The 33-year-old has since come under fire and an investigation was launched by the Castleford Tigers club.

"This issue is currently being dealt with internally and the club will make no further comment at this time."

His Wikipedia page has been edited by one internet joker to add "back of Greggs" to his list of clubs following the viral video.

This comes shortly before the 2023 Super League, which is due to start on Thursday.
