Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl as Patrick Mahomes leads epic comeback against Eagles after Rihanna extravaganza | The Sun

PATRICK Mahomes led an epic second-half fightback to win his second Super Bowl title.

The beaten-up quarterback was in excruciating pain late in the first half after a hit to his injured ankle.

Kansas City trailed by ten points at the half when Rihanna graced the stage at State Farm Stadium.

But Mahomes fought through the pain barrier to lead the Chiefs back from 24-14 down to win.

The injured quarterback threw three touchdown passes, two of which came in the second half.

Mahomes found Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore to give the Eagles an unlikely lead.

Jalen Hurts threw one touchdown pass and ran in three more – including to tie it at 35-35.

But Mahomes led another game-winning drive to set up Harrison Butker with a short field goal for the victory.

The Eagles were made to pay for their poor second half performance after Rihanna's super show.

The music superstar rocked Arizona with some of her greatest hits over the years.
