'Keep the ball! F***ing rubbish' – Watch strict Ten Hag lay into Man Utd youngster during no-nonsense training session | The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED are expecting huge things from their team in 2022-23 after new boss Erik ten Hag went on an X-rated tirade in pre-season training.

The Red Devils have won all three of their pre-season matches, scoring 11 times in the process – including a 4-0 win over Liverpool.

But Ten Hag is clearly still not satisfied as he called one of United's most-promising youngsters "f***ing rubbish" during a recent training session.

Despite it being only pre-season, Ten Hag was furious after Zidane Iqbal lost possession of the ball during a drill.

The no-nonsense Dutchman was heard yelling: "Keep the ball on the floor.

"Zidane. Hey. Keep the ball. F***ing rubbish."

The video came hot on the heels of Ten Hag's hardline rules at Old Trafford, including no booze, no personal chefs, no mobile phones at meals, body fat checks and fines for being late.

The ex-Ajax chief was also overheard screaming, "what the f*** are you doing?" after a long-ball was hoofed up pitch, rather than playing it short.

But United fans are absolutely ecstatic at the disciplinarian's recent actions.

One tweeted: "This manager is winning us the lot."

A third said: "I can't deny I love everything I see about this man. Here the way he looks at the players and the ball, he really knows what he's doing, nothing escapes his watch. He oozes serious business."

Bruno Fernandes also recently revealed he welcomed the strict approach from Ten Hag.

The playmaker claimed: "We missed that for a while and discipline is important.

"Discipline is not only the way you play, the position that you have, what you have to do, it’s also off the pitch.

"Don’t be late for the meetings, don’t be late for the meals…
