Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has been in incredible form in recent months.

Roy Keane admits that he doubted whether Rashford had the ‘personality’ to be the key player for United.

It is expected that Liverpool will still be without Arthur, Thiago, Joe Gomez and Luis Diaz for this game.

United, meanwhile, will assess Luke Shaw and Jadon Sancho.

It has been a challenging season for Liverpool, who have lacked consistency. However, Jurgen Klopp’s side are still in with a chance of securing a top four finish – they are currently six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham with two games in hand. A win today could be hugely important.

Manchester United certainly look to have turned a corner under Erik ten Hag and they already have one trophy this season following their victory in the Carabao Cup final last weekend.

Although they are 14 points behind leaders Arsenal in the league, United have two games in hand, starting with today’s fixture, and they will be determined to close the gap.

However, to do that they will have to do something they haven’t managed to achieve for seven years by winning at Anfield.
