LOGAN PAUL was praised for saving WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio from a serious injury during their US Championship Match at Crown Jewel.
Paul and Mysterio locked horns in Saudi Arabia in a bout that saw the YouTube star winning his first title belt since linking up with the professional wrestling giants two years ago.
The incident took place when the legendary luchadore jumped off the second rope with a Springboard Moonsault towards his opponent.
But the three-time world champion landed a few inches away from his rival and almost crashed head first on the mat.
However, Paul showed great ring awareness as he caught the 48-year-old mid-air on his shoulder.
And that was a tough catch as the 28-year-old had to get to one knee before finally regaining his balance.

The amateur boxer then got his head back in the game as he took Mysterio down with a Powerslam to get the match back underway.
The WWE Universe was left in awe and congratulated Paul – who was competing in only his eighth ever wrestling match – for his quick reaction.
One fan tweeted: "He saved Rey's life."
Another commented: "Close one."

A third posted: "Props to Logan Paul on that."
This fan said: "We almost just witnessed a WWE legend's life end and Logan Paul to be the one to save him. Crazy world."
And that one stated: "Fair play Logan that could have been bad for Rey."
But there were also some claiming Paul was the one that almost ruined the spot as he was in the wrong position and should have been closer to the ropes.
One fan tweeted: "B******s! Was always supposed to catch him, Logan was wrongly placed for the move and almost caused the injury."
Another posted: "He’s clearly supposed to be close enough to either catch or take that. Not catch him last minute."
And a third said: "Not really."
Mysterio, though, also showed his tremendous 34-year experience as he looked ready to land on his hands, which were already touching the mat when his opponent caught him.
Paul went on to win the match in controversial fashion with the use of brass knuckles.
