Luis Suarez confirms new club in emotional Nacional return with transfer ‘impossible to turn down’ despite MLS interest | The Sun

LUIS SUAREZ has confirmed that he is making a sensational return to first club Nacional in Uruguay.

The 35-year-old is a free agent after his contract at Atletico Madrid expired last month.

The Uruguayan has been linked with a host of clubs since, with a recent report claiming that he had been offered to Borussia Dortmund.

A more recent one stated that Suarez was wanted by MLS club LAFC to form a partnership with Gareth Bale.

Now the star himself has confirmed that he is heading back to Nacional 16 years after he left them to head to Europe.

Suarez revealed the news in a video on Instagram, saying: “I’ve now reached a pre-agreement in order to join Nacional, it was impossible for me to say no to this opportunity.

“I hope final details will be resolved soon in order to complete the deal officially.”
