Man Utd ace Cristiano Ronaldo's agent in 'talks with Napoli' over loan transfer including £85m swap with Victor Osimhen | The Sun

JORGE MENDES is reportedly trying to negotiate a stunning swap deal with Cristiano Ronaldo and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.

Ronaldo is desperate to leave Old Trafford this summer and play Champions League football but has been snubbed by several of Europe's top clubs.

Mendes is eager to end his client's second stint with United and has reached out to Napoli – who are reportedly open to signing the Portuguese star.

Gianluca DiMarzio claims the Serie A big boys are willing to sign the five-time Ballon d'Or winner if United buy Nigeria international Osimhen from them for £85million.

It's claimed the Italians would take Ronaldo on loan for the remainder of the season, although it's unclear who would pay his astronomical wages.

Osimhen, 23, caught the eye of several clubs last season, in which he scored 18 goals and provided six assists in 32 appearances.

But the Nigerian's agent is adamant United haven't been in contact about signing him.

Roberto Calenda tweeted: "No negotiations in progress, no exchanges.

"Victor Osimhen is a Napoli player and wants to play the Champions League with his Napoli after winning it on the pitch with pride together with the coach and teammates."

The Dutch giants recently rejected a £76million bid for the Brazilian, who has begged them to let him leave Amsterdam.

He said: "I'm not asking Ajax to release me, I'm asking Ajax to sell me with the highest bid ever for Eredivisie player.

"I've been insisting on this theme since February so that the club could rebuild the team with peace of mind."
