MANCHESTER UNITED have been hit by a new injury crisis with Lisandro Martinez ruled out for an "extended period."
And they have just one full-back available for tomorrow's game against Crystal Palace with Sergio Reguilon also ruled out.
It means Erik ten Hag may have to play loanee midfielder Sofyan Amrabat at left-back for the second straight game.
And the door is also open for Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans to line up at centre-back.
Fan favourite Martinez has aggravated a foot injury he sustained last season in April.
He was carried off the pitch in tears during last term's Europa League clash with Sevilla.

Martinez was eventually ruled out for the remainder of the campaign with a fractured metatarsal.
But the injury has come back to haunt the ace and United.

He "bravely" featured in the next two matches against Brighton and Bayern Munich – both of which also ended in defeat.
But Martinez is unable to continue, having sat out the last two wins over Burnley and Palace.
United's statement confirmed: "It has now been determined that he needs a period on the sidelines for recovery and rehabilitation. Assessment is ongoing to decide next steps.
"Everyone at Manchester United sends Lisandro our best wishes and looks forward to him coming back as soon as possible."
As for Reguilon, he could be missing until after next month's international break after coming off injured at Burnley.
The Spurs loanee had impressed fans during his brief time at Old Trafford.
And he becomes the THIRD United left-back to pick up a problem this term, with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia also sidelined.
United added: "Sergio Reguilon will also be absent from this Saturday’s Premier League game against Crystal Palace with a minor injury."
