Good morning Man Utd fans!
Cristiano Ronaldo is being offered an escape route from Manchester United by David Beckham’s Inter Miami, report the Daily Star.
The MLS outfit are willing to pay the Portuguese ace a whopping £30million annually to lure him to the United States next year.
Miami’s top foreigner Gonzalo Higuain announced last week he is calling time on his glittering career.
The Argentinian’s retirement at the end of the current MLS campaign will automatically free up space for the possible arrival of Ronaldo, who is a regular visitor to the Florida area.
The one condition to that mega switch is that Miami, coached by Phil Neville, bag Ronaldo, 37, on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, Wayne Rooney has blasted his former Manchester United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo by saying he is “not the player he was”.
The now boss at MLS side DC United, told the Portugal superstar, 37, to be patient while waiting for his opportunity under Erik ten Hag.
Rooney said: “The manager’s obviously gone a different way in terms of how they’re playing and been successful.
“Cristiano… him and Lionel Messi are two of the greatest players to ever play the game, but ultimately time catches up with us all.
“He’s obviously not the player he was when he was 22 or 23, for instance. It’s a tough one for him.
“Knowing him, it’ll be very difficult for him to sit on the bench. I’m sure if he stays patient, his chance will come and, again, it’s then obviously him taking those chances and trying to force his way back in.”
In transfer news, United have sent scouts to watch Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi – but face competition if they want to land him.
Other sides throughout Europe are also interested in the 23-year-old, who has caught attention with a string of impressive performances in the middle of the park.

Maguire holiday – exclusive
Harry Maguire was given special permission to take a break in Portugal this week to “clear his head”.
Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag was happy for his injured defender to jet off to the golf resort of Quinta do Lagofor while his team-mates struggled in the Europa League.
Maguire’s sunshine break with family members was sanctioned to help him “clear his head” whilst recovering from injury picked up on England duty.
Ten Hag is desperate for the under-fire centre-back to rediscover his long-lost form after a series of poor displays for club and country.

More on Ronaldo to Miami
Manchester United would want around £10million to let Cristiano Ronaldo go in January but there’s still no guarantee he’ll get his wish.
Ronaldo still wants to leave United behind, especially with the former Juventus and Real Madrid star set to stay behind Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in Erik ten Hag’s pecking order.
The Red Devils boss may still be unwilling to let the Portuguese leave as there is a risk he will not be given funds to replace him.

Leeds United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester United target Cody Gakpo, according to the Mirror.
The Whites are now believed to be negotiating a price with PSV who are demanding £30million for the forward.

He has since scored 12 goals and produced 10 assists in just 15 appearances this season.

Barca eye Man Utd defender
Barcelona seem to be ready to up the ante in their pursuit of Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot ahead of the summer transfer window next year.
SPORT is reporting that Barcelona manager Xavi has given the green light for the club to pursue the signing of the right-back.
The 42-year-old tactician has a big say in the transfer decisions at the Nou Camp, along with director Mateu Alemany.
And he has now given his ‘OK’ for the Blaugrana to go after Dalot ahead of the next summer window.

McNeil ready to face United
Everton star Dwight McNeil believes that now is a good time for his side to face Manchester United following their defeat to fierce rivals Man City last weekend.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, McNeil said: "We look at the players rather than their transfer fees, we try to assess their strengths and weaknesses and how we can exploit what they are not good at. There won’t be any feeling of inferiority.
"Every team in the Premier League has top players. United do, so do we. We know the outcome we want.
"It’s a good time for us to play United. At the weekend, they had a hard game obviously."

Evra shows concern after derby
Patrice Evra feels Erik ten Hag may have caused a rift with some of his Manchester United players and questioned whether they will be ready to face Everton.
He told Betfair: “The question is, have United recovered from the derby?
“It’s always difficult to play against the Toffees, this is always a difficult game. That’s not the place I want United to go to right now. Unfortunately, I think Everton will win.
“United upset me so much against City and they brought back some bad memories. Is the team strong enough to recover that fast? I don’t know.”

Keane eyeing a managerial return?
Roy Keane was a shock visitor at Preston vs West Brom on Wednesday night to set tongues wagging about a managerial return.
Manchester United legend Keane does want to be a boss again — as we revealed last year — despite his Sky Sports pundit role.
But Steve Bruce looks like he is staying in charge of the Baggies for now and has the backing of chief executive Ron Gourlay.
Keane was spotted in the stands as Preston beat West Brom 1-0 to pile the pressure on Bruce.

Ten Hag warned over Ronaldo
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has been sent a warning that Casemiro and Cristiano Ronaldo may not be "on side" at the club after the Dutchman named the pair on the substitutes bench for the Manchester derby.
Speaking on Soccer Saturday, former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood had his say on Ten Hag's decision to leave Ronaldo on the bench "out of respect" for his career.
He said: "For me, that wasn’t a good look, him looking at Casemiro there.
"If I was the manager and I turn around and I am watching them two whispering around, I am thinking, 'I’m not sure if they are on side.'
"Why has be bought Casemiro to the club? He’s fully fit, give him the opportunity to play, get him on the pitch as soon as you can.
"We are talking about a five-time Champions League winner, why on earth is he sitting next to Cristiano Ronaldo, the greatest player we have seen on the bench? It’s different if you have top-drawer players on the pitch but those two are good enough to play in the Manchester United side."

Lescott tips Everton for win
Joleon Lescott believes his former team Everton will beat Manchester United.
He said: "This is a real tough game for both Everton and Manchester United for different reasons.
At home against the Red Devils, the Goodison Park crowd will be well up for it and the Toffees’ run of two straight victories has been massive for the mood at the club.
“I’m going to go with my heart and back my old team to claim another win.
“Prediction: Everton 1-0 Manchester United."

Natural goalscorer
Cristiano Ronaldo vs Erling Haaland was on the lips of many last weekend after the Manchester derby.
Haaland netted a hat-trick meanwhile Ronaldo was left fuming on the bench.
But it's worth remembering the incredible stats CR7 has recorded in his career.
He may be out of form in front of goal at the moment for United but surely he will find his shooting boots again soon.

Toffees lie in wait
Everton host Manchester United on Sunday, looking to extend their unbeaten run at the expense of Erik Ten Hag's sorry side.
The Toffees are unbeaten in seven matches under Frank Lampard, dating back to a 2-1 loss against Aston Villa in August.
United, on the other hand, come into the match off the back of a 6-3 defeat to rivals Manchester City and will be looking to set the record straight.
A win for Everton would see them leapfrog United and climb as high as fifth in the Premier League.

'Time catches up with us all', warns Rooney
Rooney also warned his former pal Ronaldo, 37, that Father Time will catch up with him.
He said: "The manager's obviously gone a different way in terms of how they're playing and been successful.
"Cristiano… him and Lionel Messi are two of the greatest players to ever play the game, but ultimately time catches up with us all.
"He's obviously not the player he was when he was 22 or 23, for instance. It's a tough one for him."

Rooney tells Ronaldo 'be patient'
Wayne Rooney has told his former Manchester United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo to stay "patient" and wait for his chance to shine again for the Red Devils.
Portugal star Ronaldo has looked a frustrated figure during lengthy periods of warming United's bench under new boss Erik ten Hag this season.
Speaking to reporters, DC United boss Rooney commented: "Knowing him, it'll be very difficult for him to sit on the bench.
"I'm sure if he stays patient, his chance will come andthen it's obviously about him taking those chances and trying to force his way back in."

Ronaldo, Rashford or Martial to start?
Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial all played big parts in Thursday's 3-2 Europa League win at Omonia Nicosia – but which of them should start against Everton tomorrow?
Rashford came off the bench to bag a quickfire brace in Cyprus, with fellow second-half sub Martial also hitting a late goal which proved to be the winner.
Ronaldo started and finished on a night where he hit the post from close range and played a key role in both of Rashford's goals.
So it will be interesting to see who Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag plumbs for in what will be a caldron atmosphere at Goodison Park tomorrow evening.

Will Gordon start for Everton?
Everton might look to sharpen their attack by returning Anthony Gordon to their starting XI for tomorrow's visit of Manchester United.
The England hopeful came off the bench for the last 15 minutes of last weekend's 2-1 win at Southampton.
The Toffees have the best Prem defensive record so far this season after conceding just seven top-flight goals.
But Frank Lampard's side have only scored seven league goals too and that might prompt a recall for one of their most productive stars.
Versatile forward Gordon, 21, started Everton's first seven league games this season and has had more shots on target (13) than any of his team-mates.
The pacy young star has also netted two goals and caught the eye with a number of energetic displays.
