BRUNO FERNANDES is clearly out to impress new Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag after being filmed working out during his summer holiday.
The Dutch chief, 52, has taken over from Ralf Rangnick in the Old Trafford hotseat.
Ten Hag has ordered his United players back for pre-season training on June 27.
But Fernandes, 27, has shown the former Ajax man he'll be pushing hard to earn his trust after being filmed working out with a personal trainer while on his summer break.
The Portuguese star, who has cooled off a tad after his red-hot start to life in Manchester following his January 2020 transfer, was filmed pool-side using resistance bands to boost his upper-body strength.
Fernandes was once again being put through his paces by trainer Fabio Cotovio.

The playmaker worked out with Cotovio at his Portugal base last summer too in a bid to keep fit during the much-needed off-season breather.
But Fernandes is not the only Man Utd star putting in the extra hours at the gym ahead of the 2022-23 season.
On Thursday, Jadon Sancho – who endured a tough debut season following his £73million move last summer – was spotted working out during his holiday in the USA.
The winger, 22, threw on a Man Utd shirt to go for a run in the scorching Los Angeles sunshine, having enjoyed a quick holiday in Jamaica and festival in New Jersey.

Elsewhere, Marcus Rashford shared a clip of himself pumping iron in a bid to bulk up and force his way back into the England reckoning.
Earlier this week, Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate revealed both Rashford and Sancho "have a lot to do" to break into his 2022 World Cup squad.
But Rashford is working hard to make that dream come true after a gruelling weights session in the gym.
He managed just five goals and two assists in 32 appearances for the Red Devils.

United finished just sixth in the Premier League last season, a staggering 35 points adrift of champions and rivals Manchester City.
