Man Utd star Eric Bailly snubs Cristiano Ronaldo as he names the two players that blew him away with 'incredible talent' | The Sun

ERIC BAILLY has snubbed Cristiano Ronaldo when naming the two Manchester United players that "blew him away" during his time at Old Trafford.

Bailly, 28, left the Red Devils in the summer – joining Marseille on a season-long loan deal.

During his six years at the Theatre of Dreams he played alongside the likes of Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Paul Pogba – but he preferred another attacking duo.

Recently reminiscing about his United days, he told L'Equipe: "I knew a lot of great players in Manchester.

"But if I have to talk about everyone who impressed me, we're never going to finish this interview!

"There was incredible talent, both old and young. Someone like Marcus Rashford really blew me away. Anthony Martial too."

Bailly also had kind words for former Red Devil Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean endured a disappointing spell at Old Trafford, scoring just five goals in 45 appearances.

Now Bailly's team-mate at Marseille, however, the 33-year-old appears to have found his groove again.

The Ivorian added: "Alexis is passionate, he has the grinta, the energy he gives to the people around him.

"This is what he is demonstrating again here at OM.

"He too had a difficult time in Manchester. I'm glad to find him here.

"On the field, when you see him, it makes you want to go all out, his way of pressing, his grit, his rage, when you're behind it motivates you."

Bailly and Sanchez were both in action last night as Marseille grabbed an impressive 2-0 Champions League win away at Sporting Lisbon.

The former Arsenal ace bagged the Ligue 1 side's second as they climbed to second in their group.
