MANCHESTER UNITED are interested in beating Tottenham to David Raya's signature, according to reports.
The highly-rated Spaniard has one year remaining on his Brentford contract and is expected to leave the Bees this summer.
SunSport revealed yesterday that Spurs are pushing hard to sign Raya and are locked in negotiations with Brentford.
The West Londoners are demanding £40million for their No1, but Tottenham want to negotiate that fee down.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed this morning that Raya has agreed personal terms with Spurs and is waiting for a deal to be reached between the clubs.
Should Tottenham dawdle, however, Man United could hijack the transfer.

He has since made 161 appearances for the Bees, helping them earn promotion to the Premier League along the way.
Brentford signed Mark Flekken from Freiburg for £11m last month, with the Dutchman seemingly primed to come in as Raya's replacement.
