    Fer real?

Bruno Fernandes previously said that he thinks Man Utd should sign Goncalo Ramos amid rumours he could be in line for a £69million move to Old Trafford.

Fernandes said: "The best always come in handy, be it Goncalo or another player.

"He has all the qualities to play in the Premier League, and when I say Premier League I also mean Manchester United.

"I think he could become a great reference in the coming years, but it's still not in my hands to be sports director…

"Gonçalo has all the conditions to play in the Premier League, he is very intense, presses very well and is very good inside the area.

"He surprised me in the national team, not only me but the rest of my team-mates. He's physically strong, he's still young and he's going to get better.

"If he continues to work as he has been doing, I think he has the potential to be one of the best strikers in the world, but he needs to go to a more competitive league to prove it."

    Man Utd in Kane blow

Man Utd have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Harry Kane with Spurs reportedly only open to selling him to a team abroad.

Bayern Munich are convinced they will sign him and have supposedly agreed personal terms with him.

Now Bayern are ready to test Tottenham’s resolve with an £80million bid after seeing a previous offer rejected.

SunSport understands Daniel Levy will remain stubborn in negotiations but that has not deterred Bayern’s advances.

And according to German journalist Christian Falk the Bundesliga champions are confident of striking a deal due to an alleged agreement Kane has with Levy.

Falk says: “The point is that Bayern are in another league. Kane has a gentleman’s agreement with Daniel Levy that he is allowed to go to another league if there is another offer that he is really interested in.”

    Ratcliffe bid "dead"

Sir Jim Ratcliffe's bid to buy Man Utd is "dead", claims Bloomberg reporter David Hellier, speaking to the United View.

This is due to his offer not suiting United's minority shareholders, who threaten legal action against the Glazers should they accept his bid.

Hellier said: "I was picking up from advisers to Man Utd that his bid as it stands is dead in the water – I mean absolute dead water.

"The reason for that is that he is proposing a structure which would buy out the Glazers, as you know, the majority shareholders, and not offer anything to the minority holders.

"They have made it absolutely clear to the Manchester United board via a letter that was sent:

"‘If you recommend this offer which prejudices us, gives us no offer at all, that we end up with discounted shares while the Glazers get everything, we will sue’."

He told MUFC: "We know him as an excellent left-back but he's been unbelievable [at centre-back].

“As a full-back, you’d probably only play there a few times until the other defenders all come back [from injury].

“But because Luke has played so well, he’s been, pretty much, the next-choice centre-back.

“I’m not sure if he played there as a kid, but he just seems to read the game very well. He’s good in the air, his positioning is good and getting better after a few games.”
