MMA star Losene Keita got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend live on TV… just moments after brutally breaking his FOOT.

The Belgian lightweight champion dropped down to featherweight to challenge for Mate Sanikidze's strap.

But the bout – which headlined Oktagon 45 in Prague – ended in painful disaster after only one minute.

Following a grappling exchange, Keita got to his feet but immediately began to hobble on one leg.

The referee was quick to step in and wave the bout off, much to the shock of fans inside the packed out arena.

A devastated Keita – still hobbling on one leg – apologised to the crowd but quickly turned his attention to his partner.

The fighter got one one knee and asked: "Will you marry me."

Disappointment from the fight ending soon turned to elation as she answered yes before planting a kiss on Keita.

The European believes he suffered the injury after throwing a kick and suspected it was broken.

And Keita was quick to call for a rematch, adding: "The story is not finished. I was feeling great, I was feeling my distance.
