Chelsea fans convinced Mateo Kovacic 'still one of us' after Man City star 'celebrates' Cole Palmer's late penalty | The Sun

CHELSEA fans are convinced Mateo Kovacic is "still one of us" after the Manchester City newbie "celebrated" Cole Palmer's equaliser.

The Blues supporters believe a quiet cheer slipped from the Croatian midfielder as he watched his old side score a late penalty to tie the match.

Mauricio Pochettino's side picked up a stunning point after a dramatic late penalty in a 4-4 thriller against Manchester City.

Former City ace Palmer's spot-kick in the 95th minute capped one of the Premier League's greatest games.

Fans seemed that Kovacic, 29, was secretly pleased as he discreetly clenched his fist after his former team scored.

The speculated celebration was caught on camera and it has left fans weeping that the Croatian is still a Blue at heart.
