Mykhailo Mudryk given standing ovation after being subbed off by Chelsea as fans say they 'love him so much' | The Sun

CHELSEA fans said they "love Mykhailo Mudryk so much" after giving him a standing ovation during Wednesday night's win over Brighton.

The 22-year-old has struggled to find his feet since joining the Blues – but a boost from supporters may help bring his confidence back.

Nicolas Jackson scored the only goal as Mauricio Pochettino's side won only their third game of the season in the Carabao Cup clash.

In fact, Jackson's strike was the Blues' only goal in the whole of September.

One of the brightest stars on the night, though, was Mykhailo Mudryk.

The Ukrainian offered a lot on both sides of the pitch proving to be a real threat against Robert De Zebri's side.
