NEWCASTLE have been forced to wear a one-off kit to face Brighton this weekend after being told all three of their current kits clashed with the Seagulls.
Eddie Howe's team will now turn out in a sky blue jersey that normally features as their training kit.
The bizarre situation comes after the Premier League ruled that their entire stock of home and away kits could not work against Brighton.
Newcastle's website confirmed that the footballing authorities said that their iconic black and white strip, their navy blue shirts and their white third kit would all clash with Brighton blue and white strip.
Due to this, what is normally their training kit will be adorned with their normal kit logos and worn at the Amex on Saturday.
The club released images showing forwards Callum Wilson and Allan Saint-Maximin alongside midfielder Miguel Almiron modelling the new shirt.

The club also received special dispensation from the Premier League to have the sky-blue jersey feature the silhouette of St. James' Park and several city landmarks.
The rest of the kit will be made up by black shorts.
After the trip to Brighton, the basic sky blue shirt will revert back to being a pre-match training kit.
The meeting at the Amex will feature two of the eight sides who won their opening Premier League fixture.

Newcastle began with victory over newly-promoted Nottingham Forest, but only after Fabian Schar broke the deadlock in emphatic fashion from long range.
